New story series: Ego Concentric Circles
You might have seen my MLP A.I. story series. This is not like that. This story series probably won't use A.I. Dungeon, but that might depend on the specific short story I am writing. This story series is a bunch of interconnected short stories that all take place in the same canon. I was thinking about describing how the world works. But as I have realized that sometimes the best part about an intelligently made system is to figure it out instead of being directly told how it works.
I am not sure how to properly drop hints. So I don't think I'll bother. Of course, I won't be hiding it either. Some of my stories will be more obvious in how they involve other stories, but that is just how some stories work. I have bunch of ideas of how this series works and the rules of the shared canon, but I have not completely fleshed out everything. Similar to how I have an idea of the stories I want to write, to the point that I have made outlines of a few of them. But, of course, I can't truly understand how to get from plotpoint A to plotpoint B without writing the story.
So even I won't fully understand the shared canon until I have written the stories that share the canon. I haven't done anything like this before, so I don't know how easy it will be for readers to figure out my behind the scenes rules and world-building. I'm hoping it will be a fun challenge.
I don't know whether to publish my short stories in parts that I've completed like I did MLP A.I. stories, or if I should publish the story only once it is complete. Or maybe I should publish the story and then update it as I go along, so we don't have a bunch of posts covering the same story. I think I'll try this last option first.
