File Redacted

I may have been possessed by an evil spirit.

But don’t worry. It’s gone now. No need to fear it.

But after that, my mind never was the same.

I fear that sadly, it may have damaged my brain.

-

Good luck trying to hold me down.

No straight jacket I can’t break out.

Yes, I’m a bit of a contortionist.

I swear I don’t need an exorcist.

-

Go ahead with the ritual. It makes you feel safe.

Call upon the Angels, bind me to the grave.

See? Nothing happened, you’re such a worrier.

Now stand back as I climb up walls like a spider.

-

I prefer Ghost to Incorporeal.

Why? No reason, I just feel

Like I’ve been mistreated all my lives!

But I’m helpless to get my fate revised.

-

I can’t remember anything from before “the incident.”

Don’t be suspicious, just read this medical document.

I don’t feel pain and my limbs can bend the wrong direction.

I guess that’s why I’m perfect for this special mission.

-

I crawl through a vent too small to fit a child.

Mangle my bones to squeeze out to guide

You from the surveillance cameras from these security rooms.

What’s that reflected on the monitor? Behind me, it looms.

-

Oh dear, my demons haven’t left.

Back to haunt me again, but I will survive yet.

Break out the crowbar, smash all the screens.

Burst out into the hall, make for the exit and leave.

-

Now they’re after me for ruining their operation.

I make my way to the closest police station.

Shouldn’t have gotten caught up in a gang.

But I can’t stay here with the police in questioning.

-

I can hear the breathing of the demons behind me.

I can see shadows of their claws in front of me swing.

Look up, officer! Can’t you see it?

No, I’m not joking, you must see it. How can you not?

-

Now no need for manacles, I’m cooperative.

I was the one to tell you I was an operative.

Don’t drag me to jail, don’t take me to court.

I need to run from the monster, it’ll cut my throat.

-

Who’s that stomping around with a foot literally lead?

Cannons for arms and a gas mask covering its head?

In its presence, the demons flee out of sight.

In this dismal darkness, this person is a light.

-

“I’ll take it from here.” The woman’s gravelly voice announces.

Flashing a badge, she steps forward, and behind me she glances.

The police leave, she raises her arm.

A grappling hook aims, ready to do me harm.

-

I go pale as a ghost and feel my soul lurch.

I collapse the floor, and wake up in church.

Another exorcism ritual? “Wow.”

“Do you really think exorcism can save me now?”

-

It’s far too late. The demons have taken hold.

But this time is different as the ritual stops cold.

The gas masked woman gives me an offer I can’t resist.

I must cooperate if I am allowed to persist.

-

I still don’t know who I am.

Am I a ghost or a man?

Am I still possessed?

But no matter what,  I know I’m the best.

-

I can’t be held down by chains.

Think you can trap me? Prepare for a change.

Not human, not Screamer, but something in between.I’m worse than the small girl from The Ring.
