Life is a Dream
I wake up from a vivid memory
But when I leave my room, I’m back in bed.
I fear I may be stuck inside a dream.
-
At school, blurred eyes stumble to find the way.
The class room door, wet clay not yet molded.
I wake up from a vivid memory.
-
My room, instead of roof or walls, has sky.
Early morning, get up and take my meds.
I fear I may be stuck inside a dream.
-
Despite how much I eat, I’m still hungry.
And words, they change before they can be read.
I wake up from a vivid memory.
