Dragon Time

Dragon’s hide from celestial beings,

Though it’s hard to hide when nothing

Can be hid from all-seeing eyes.

These eyes see all, so why can’t they find

-

The dragons’ lair up in the heavens

Where they kicked out the light with pain and anguish?

Beware the tongue, it speaketh lies.

The slithering snake seeks your soul, your life.

-

But the beguiling serpent, God has smitten.

So why has he not defeated this time-traveling Leviathan?

Primordial, from the foundation in the beginning;

These dreadful beings have been amongst us, lurking.

-

The first dragon made waves in creation,

But he rebelled against God and that can’t be accepted.

Yet this dragon remembered to save the game,

He reloaded to safety; Leviathan is his name.

-

Returns to the past to amend his mistakes.

The dragons go back to before they were slain.

And when they kill thugs,

They sometimes drop buffs.

-

Guns looted from the corpses of monsters.

Where they get them from? I often wonder.

Grenades from lizards, blasters from birds.

Assault rifles from rhinos, and giant bats give rocket launchers.

-

Even worse, dragons can clone themselves,

And send their avatars to other worlds.

They can create portals through space and time,

And not even old age can make them die.

-

So these creatures are immortals.

They’re shape-shifters and time lords.

They’re unkillable monsters that stole the heavens.

They rarely reveal their true forms for fear of divine retribution.

-

What do you do when there is a dragon in your dreams?

What do you do when it infects the minds of all your friends?

So many places at once, every mind on the planet.

And at every time, past, future, and present.

-

Why are dragons so bold?

No other dream lord their name have told.

Scale and claw, tail, fang and wing.

They are the most powerful things in reality.
